SC are requesting my raw file for Breathing Black which is sitting in Bridge but I don't know how to download it to this site as a raw file? When click the browse button to upload I don't have an option to go to Adobe Bridge. Any suggestions please..

You need the original file. How did you download it from the card to the computer?

I download through windows live, which doesn't support my raw file so I then view the file in Bridge.

you should be able too add your file with the detail information in the box provided

Search for the photo's file name in your computer and you should be able to find where it resides, and then you can upload it from there.

I have tried that, Its when I go into browse I can only browse my pictures through window live which has a 'closed' raw file which is unviewable through that site and even when I click on the raw file in my pictures and press the submit button nothing happens.

You should be able to access the original on the card using whatever device you used to upload the file to Bridge.

Nevermind... you said Windows, so...

Is the card reader part of the computer, or do you use a separate card reader and connect via USB?

It may seem that way but the upload of the file takes a while and there's no progress bar or anything to indicate anything is happening.

Move or copy the RAW file to your desktop. When you go to the DPC upload window, go to the desktop and load it from there.

Thank you so much, I appreciate all the help but I cant keep going with this right now as I need to go see my mother in hospital after her op. I will check in when I get back home in a few hours and hopefully I can resolve this before I get D'qd. Thanks again

Write a ticket to SC and tell them you're working on it. If you have the original card with the file on it, you will be able to send it.

tanguera I did try that but it seemed only to copy to desktop as a jpg and I lost the RAW file and had to download again from card? maybe I will try that again. thanks

just tried to from desktop again but im having the same problem that when I press submit nothing seems to be happening.. [user]MemberPennyStreet[/user] I will contact SQ and request a little more time and try again when I get home. Aaargh so frustrating..

Indeed, your mom is WAAAAY more important. This will probably be resolved by the time you get back.

We're giving her the time, don't worry about that folks. But it would help a lot if someone (PamB?) in Australia can call her and walk her through it. We have sent her several requests (so she'd have a direct upload link) but so far we're not GETTING anything.
