Hi guys, please help...

I don't know where to set the brightness of my laptop during photoediting in CS5. My laptop is MacBook Air Mid 2013. The brightness control has 16 boxes, I usually set this at 13th box. I don't want my images to be underexposed/overexposed when viewed by others in their computers.

Please help.. thanks in advance....

I think you'll need to set up another computer/monitor right next to your laptop, and then look at an uploaded image (in a browser) alongside the same image in PS on your laptop, and adjust the screen(s) to match.

You will never account for all the variation in other people's monitors/settings/calibration (or lack thereof) ... there will always be some people who see your images darker than you intend, and some lighter ... :-(

Thank you so much sir..

Will follow your advice. I'll borrow another laptop & adjust accordingly.

And yes, the last line is truly the reality :<
