Is there any way to mount my Minolta or Sigma AF lenses on a dSLR? Is there a known body to lens converter? Please help! I'm in a little crisis and was wondering if anyone has used Minolta/Sigma lenses on their dSLRs.

Thanks,
Lee

I assume the camera you wish to use the lnses on has interchangeable lenses with a different size or shape bayonet mount.
The Sigma lenses have interchangeable mounting rings to fit most popular SLRs. Don't know what Sigma charges for the rings.

Not all Sigma lense can use the interchangeable mounting rings. Those lense that have specific electronic interfaces for a given camera cannot be switched.
That pretty much leaves out most modern electronic cameras, unless you shoot entirely in manual mode. For example, my old Nikon F lenses will physically fit on my Nikon 8008S
but none of the electronic features are available. I recently switched the mounting rings from a Sigma made for Olympus OM-10 and one made for Pentax 'K'. The factory produces the lenses for use on a variety of cameras, the only difference being the adapter ring.
You will have to contact Sigma to see which lenses can be adapted for which cameras.

There will be this fall when the new digital Maxxum comes out. See Konica Minolta Maxxum 7 Digital
