02/27/2014 11:02:54 AM · #6277
Nope - this company also made anti aircraft guns, amongst other things.

Looks a bit like the Peugeot lion, but the grill looks too early for the lion standing on its haunches.

Agreed, plus I don't see how a word ending in "a" is the top word on a Peugeot grille.

No to all answers - but you're all on the right continent. They no longer make cars due to not keeping up with emission requirements. They do however have a history spanning over almost 100 years.

And then name on the grill IS the brand name.

Can't get a Citroen in the US for the same reason, but that's not their logo ...

How about Skoda?

Tatra!
02/27/2014 01:28:52 PM · #6288
Nope to both Bear. This company also made aircraft, tanks, buses and trucks under the same brand.
02/27/2014 01:34:31 PM · #6289
Tatra did all that, why I named them :-(

Tatra is very close...

I had the pleasure of riding in the backseat of this particular car. And people visiting this particular country would have seen many of them.

That looks like the Spanish Royal Crest. Hispano Suiza perhaps? There is a Hispano Aviacion that makes or made airplanes...

scania?
02/27/2014 02:17:18 PM · #6293
Bear was much closer with Tatra.

Remember this pic Bear? :)

02/27/2014 02:44:04 PM · #6294
It's a Praga, possibly a 1929 Praga Piccolo
02/27/2014 02:51:24 PM · #6295
Bingo Bear. It's a 1929, but a Praga Phaeton - according to the proud owner.

You're up :)

This shouldn't be too hard. WHAT are we looking at is one aspect of it, and what's going ON is the other. So tell me where (or rather what kind of a place) whatever it is, is happening on, and tell me what is, or has been, happening. In the event of a tie, the more creative "title" will win :-)

Seagulls dropping sea shells on the rocks, by the water, with the purpose of smashing them to smithereens so they get to eat the content.

Looking closer, now with glasses on, - it's obviously not rocks... but ... I'm guessing docks with non-skid metal surface.

Obviously, what is going on here is "the ol' shell game!"
