Post your outtakes from the Blurry Mess II challenge here.

entry

Pretty sure this would have done as badly - maybe worse. It's pretty blurry but not nearly messy enough. I like it better, though.

I really liked my entry, but most didn't.

This might have been better received.

I LOVED your entry! I like your outtake, too! Good work on both!

Yes you chose incorrectly, IMHO!

I didn't enter. This one was taken after the deadline.

I realize I really need to crank the contrast and saturation settings for minimal!

Entry (and I'm quite happy with it - was my choice from the moment I took it):

A couple of other options, one well suited for tomorrow!

No outtakes, but here is a recognizable photo of what I shot as I moved and zoomed during exposure.

It's gift wrapping paper. Now you know what "M L P" stands for. ;-)

I entered within a couple hours of the challenge announcement. I invested more time writing this post than I did thinking about, shooting and uploading that photo. I didn't even adjust the WB under fluorescent lighting. Have I ever mentioned that I HATE MINIMAL EDITING? even more than blurry abstract type challenges. Thankfully they are few and far between and I do like that some folks enjoy them.

I gave you an 8 for you entry. Probably would have given the same score for your outtake. Both would be great additions to the challenge.
