I had one of my pictures published in a local newspaper today! It was an aerial shot I took of the traffic going into the ichthus music festival a few weeks ago...and its only a small local paper but its still exciting! |

I can imagine how you feel. I had a childrens article published a while back and it gave me a great feeling
Also my blue ribbon on D P C gave me a real buzz!
Keep up the good work. I hope you will enter some challenges so we can see your talent

haha sorry ive had horrible experiences with trying to post pictures on the site...and havent gotten around to becoming a full-fledged member haha. the picture wasnt anything special really...kinda bad technically actually. its a shot from the air (my dad is a pilot) of the line of traffic stretching like 7 or 8 miles back from the festival entrance |

How cool to have that kind of opportunity! And to not be sitting in that traffic ... |

yeah it was awesome...we had to sit in the traffic later tho. at 8 pm (when the first band i really wanted to see was supposed to go on) i got out of my dads truck and walked the last two miles or so to the stage haha. some ppl ended up sitting in traffic for nine hours. it had rained really hard that day and cars were getting stuck as they got onto the festival grounds.
haha sorry that post had nothing to do with photography but o well :) |

I have a few pictures that got printed in local and national magazines. the first one was indeed special. I can relate, good job.
Why not post the picture here for us to enjoy it?
