Well, some things that stood out as soon as I looked at it.
It seems cropped too low. The flame (smoke?) is not cut off at a good composition point. A portrait shot, with tighter cropping from the left and right (and not centered) well help IMHO.
The background is not dark enough; the background is still visible on my monitor.
The mat you have the plate sitting on cuts the reflection off and makes it feel disconnected somewhat from its source. I think I would prefer the reflection to be contiguous with its source.
Other than that I like it, the capture of the flame is nice; it could be sharper, with fewer hot spots, but it is a flame so I am not going to hold that against it.

Oh MY GAWD!!!!
Do you realize if this fire were to spread to other glass objects that the whole building could burn down? Then, because firemen don't know how to extinquish burning glass, this could spread to every structure containing glass. Did you know that?
Furthermore, as the fire spread, the sand on all the beaches of the world could be fused into glass. That, of course, would also ignite and pretty soon the whole planet would be engulfed in flames!
We are all doomed and its YOUR fault!!
