How can I make my subject clear when I'm allowed so few words....sigh...
Ok sooo after my SECOND computer wipe, and reload of PS, I've got Most things back into working shape, EXCEPT, When I go to save a picture or open a pix (not from bridge) but like PS, file Open, it use to show me the little pictures, now it's showing me the little flowery things. Yes I click on large, small, ex-large thumb nails and it just makes the flowers large, small .... I know I can't see my NEF files from my D7100, but I should be able to see the jpgs, and I know the older shots from the D90's all showed up as little pixs before.... Soo What button am I missing pushing??? THANKS!!! K-K-K-Katie |

It may be a "file type association" issue. Can you see what the default application for jpg files is set at. It's probably something that is represented by the "little flowery things". It's late. I'll see if I can find some of the likely candidates and what their icon is tomorrow. Do you know how to change the default application for different types of files if this is the case? |

hummmm No... lately I've learned I don't know squat about computers... Although perhaps my hubby knows what that is. |

I'm assuming you're on Windows?
Couple things that may help. To change the default application, just right click on a file in Windows Explorer, choose Open With>Choose Default Program...
The other thing to try is, also in Windows Explorer, Hit Alt & T
This will open up the Tools Menu, from there choose Folder Options. Go to the View Tab. Make sure under the Advanced Settings Files & Folders that the checkbox for "always show icons, never thumbnails" is NOT checked. |

THAT WAS IT!!! Thank you!
Been a good tech day I fixed my iPhone that wasn't making any sounds n didn't ring. The silent thingy got flipped on some how, this has been a two week effort or fix it.... SIGH. Maybe I should go back to a rotary dial and an electric typewriter |

I absolutely LOVED my IBM Selectric. I had 3 different balls for it; regular, italic, and bold. When I typed out my final drafts of poems I'd change balls just italicize a word or bold a title, it felt so cutting-edge! |
