its either the thing that a Carny would use to load the tommy gun style bb gun at game at a State fair, or, used in livestock animal husbandry.
01/24/2014 02:33:51 PM · #6109
No, but it is a tool.
01/24/2014 04:17:56 PM · #6110
Ok some clues to keep this going.
This tool although not used often has proven almost invaluable when I was working concrete construction.
I have friends who ask to borrow mine for use in framing.
I own 3 at varying lengths, but I have only found only 4 other people that have one in their tool kit.
After demonstration all the companies I worked for have added them to the tool trailers.

Time for another clue.
The nickname of this tool is shared with that of a under powered gun.

No, but a BB gun can be in that class.

Is it a tool you use to tie rebar wire! I've seen something like this but much shorter in length! Wouldn't have a clue what the call them.

magnet-on-a-stick?

Time for another clue.
What this tool is used for in special circumstances is done in common situations with a tool of a different shape, and can be found in almost all households.

Is it a hammer? For nailing / hitting things down low?

I so guessed that like like forever ago. ;)

ETA:

If it's not a hammer, is it a screwdriver?

Close enough Cory. It's called a pea shooter or a slide hammer and used for nailing in places you cant reach with a hammer.
How to make a homade one. mine where purchased at a concrete specialty store.
