And you picked it a favorite! I'm honored sir!
I'll resize and post up the original in a few. Gotta run an errand first |

If you look at my favorite photos, it's the type of shot that I enjoy. |

Hey TooCool,
//gear.ign.com/articles/457/457359p1.html?fromint=1
//www.photosrecovery.com/
Those are two of the data recovery programs I was talking about. You can 'restore' pics off of c:\ and it will work as if it's looking at a media card. You may find THOUSANDS of photos this way. I'd seriously look into this if you still have lost files. They aren't gone until they are overwritten.
(sorry to hijack your thread - please resume photoshopping at will)
Hope it helps!!

For Faidoi, simply resized! Gimme a minute and I'll post up my edits on the edited version!
Entered edits and EXIF on the B/W version.

Messing with PhotoShop can be really fun sometimes, its amazing the things you can learn just by messing around and trial and error.

I'm compelled to request to see an original and know the details of YOUR edits! Where were you to get such a shot? |

Shot at Fort Funston. Great place to spot hang glider and watch the sunset. Only problem is majority of the time it's foggy as heck.
Edited version: I was just playing around with colors and neatimage. Levels, curves, gradient map, selective colors, and hue/saturation. |

Very nice work! I've never used a gradiant map... What did it add to this shot? |

I used the gradient map to soften the image. Kind of give it a flying feeling.
Straight out of camera most of my pictures need quite a bit of processing. I usually overprocess.
I don't know how Sonifo did it. I guess that's why she owns a Rebel now.
