I don't know Cory, I thought the same, then went through it frame by frame during the explosion, shrugs.. |

Well, let me help you out.

First, notice that the fuse burns more like a wick (for about 1/4 second).

Next notice that the fuse burn never made it into the charge

The screen goes gray during the explosion, which incidentally is colored yellow - magnesium would produce a very blue-white flash.

Finally, notice that he's covered in black residue - flash powder made with magnesium leaves a white residue.

		| Your first 2 points I thought the same but dismissed because modern fuses burn internally, but I have to give it to you on the property's of magnesium.. |

		A new one I found...

This man is a marvelous idiot.

ETA: After watching it once more, I'm pretty sure this is fake too, but much better done...

The big giveaway here is that the fuse seems to act a hell of a lot more like a sparkler, and the explosion produces a cute little mushroom cloud of gray smoke..

Just wow.. The fake ones are bad enough, but the real one is just worrisome. |

		And it continues.

This is another real one, bit of blood here, nothing terrible though.

 Firecrackers in ear lobes... Wow.

I'm honestly impressed - impressed at how incredibly stupid some people are - why oh WHY would someone EVER do this?? |
