Is it living up to your expectations?

Well, that didn't take long. Hope you enjoy it. It's the one camera out there that could cause me to break my "no new gear" New Years resolution

Yes, it is.

I'm now out of discretionary spending money, and I'm very anxious for it to arrive - both of which I expected before making the actual purchase. ;)

Hope you enjoy it as much as I'm enjoying my new X-E2 :)

Ohh! Fancy.. And you're only the second owner here...

So, I take it that you're pleased with it? Care to share any observations about why you're enjoying it so much?

..

Interestingly I just got a PM from one of the other two owners of the X100s here on DPC, and there was little doubt left that they're happy with the camera.

Now I'm just flip-flopping over whether or not to sell this 1D and simply keep that ancient 5D and 20D combo.

I was actually the first, but who's counting :) Interesting the other owner also lives in Finland.

I haven't had chance to use it much yet - just a handful of shots over Christmas, but hope to put it through it's paces next week when I'm travelling to China on business. This was the reason I bought it. I travel a lot for work and I am tired of carrying the heavy camera with me, never really knowing if I'll get chance to use it. This is light weight and the image quality seems to be really good so far. Autofocus is pretty fast and it handles quite well in low light. Sure, it's not as a good as the D800, but I didn't expect it to be, but it's a lovely camera and fits my purpose well.

I just got this jewel that is Fuji X-E2 thanks to a lot of advice from John jagar
It is truly a dream for people like me who won't carry anything more than can be held with one hand (although I use two when I take pics)
Am still a bit intimidated by it and look forward for not dropping it to the a marble floor as I did with my little Canon G12
It came with a 18-55 lens and got an extra 27 mm for an amazing sale price

PS. Sarah, how could you add the X-E2 to your profile? I found listed only the closest X-E1

I had the X-E2 added by SC (although they added it twice). If you go to page 5 of the Fujifilm cameras you'll find it at the bottom of the page.

You're right...we just merged the two entries, so now there's only one. Thanks.
