This is several years old, but probably still relevant ...

Wow guys, thanks for the warm welcome!
Don't worry about me, I have thick skin and I want to get better so I won't take anything personally.
I've been a hobby type photographer for about 3 years now.
I'm an avid surf fisherman and most of my photos are fishing related.
I'll upload some photos for target practi... I mean review shortly :)
I need desperately to expand my photographic horizons, especially now in the winter so I'm looking forward to participating in some challenges.
Thanks again!-Ron |

Hi Ron, and welcome. This is my ship, the Nebuchadnezzar. It's a hovercraft. This is the main deck. This is the core where we broadcast our pirate signal and hack into DPC. Most of my crew you already know. This is Apoc, Switch, and Cypher.
The ones you don't know, Tank and his big brother, Dozer. The little one behind you is Mouse. You wanted to know what DPC is, Ron? |

Yeah? I used to have a tackle shop in San Diego. I live on Cape Cod now, where you at? Looks like maybe Long Island?

This Tutorial will explain how to link pictures posted elsewhere on the internet. With a paid membership you get Portfolio space here at DPC, which makes posting and linking even easier.
Your Profile picture must be exactly 120x90 or 90x120 pixels. Got to the menu My Home > My Preferences and there is a link on the left to upload it. There are also fields to post your location, biography, etc. be sure to Save your changes when done. |

Ron, just looked at your portfolio, you sure like the heavy surf, by the way that's a nice striper you have there. I once got a 32 ponder throwing a Kastmaster spoon while goofing around for snapper blues, funny thing it was far bigger than any I caught trying for them. |
