| Considering that the other two branches of government rate about 12% that doesn't look all that bad ... and despite the slight (monetary) loss incurred in saving GM the we (the taxpayers) made quite a few billion on the bailout package(s) overall ... |

you also have to figure in when that rating was recieved......Obama was pretty much just re-elected. Bush's ratings went way down toward the end of his leadership.
I just wish that I could call what we have now....leadership

LISTEN to yourself, Adam; that's at so juvenile a level it's mind-boggling. Prez screws up, ratings go down. It happens to pretty much all of 'em. And you're telling us in that context BUSH is a "winner" because Obama's screwup came earlier in his term? Even you have to know that's Bogus.

When Hilary runs, I wonder if she will blame everything on GW Bush?
The way things are going, some young voter in the 2052 elections will be wondering who is this Bush guy the Democrats are blaming for everything/anything?
But I doubt there will be elections in 2052. By that time some president will have become president for life. I'll let everyone argue over whether he/she is republican/democrat.
If people in this country don't soon learn to work together on a few issues it's all over. We've been divided and conquered.
Red state, Blue state? Just remember the last time people identified with colors in this country. It was Blue and Gray.
Millions of Americans died in that debacle. |

Trying to fix a total fiscal debacle that was trust upon an unsuspecting and ill prepared society really can't be classified as a "screw up".
You do of course have an appreciation of the costs associated with defense right?
