Well, I must say other than trying to find road signs with 11 on them, or lining up eleven jelly beans I am stumped. Cannot seem to come up with a creative and different image for this one. :/ still thinking though, don't count me out yet! ;)

Was just complaining about how 9s, 10s and 12s are quite common. 11 is a tricky one.

I think your face on the avatar pic is divided into 11 regions... hope that helps.

If you're trying to get me to wrap those things around my head again to get that shot well the joke's on you, my friend. Wife claims it's an improvement, so I never took them off.

My daughters baby Violet was just born on the 11th of 11th and she was in room 11.
Lots of 11's but no picture for the challenge.

Think parallel lines instead of just a number...

that came to mind but i was worried people would consider is "Two" and score me that. :)

just kidding, i'm sure that would make a good entry as well.

i had the same thought... but the challenge is titled "The NUMBER Eleven", not "Eleven" or "Eleven of _____". so methinks parallel lines or things that could look like an "11" would not be DNMC... but i've been wrong before ;-)

Some time back there was a challenge called "The number 10". All but one of the top finishing images were eleven items rather than a literal use of the numerals. The eighth place photograph had a number "10" as part of the image.

It's fair to assume the same latitude exists in this challenge, too, IMHO.

Each submission will be an interpretation of the challenge and the images will have meant something to he/she who submitted. It is my job to vote the image in the photographic skill, uniqueness, individuality, vision and not because I counted 12 blades of grass where the photographer counted (saw) 11.
