Canon 12x IS USM (S3 IS built-in Lens) -- 36-432mm (35mm EQ)

I have 2 teammates that up to 4 days ago were getting their PM's via e-mail but now they aren't getting them....

Why????

I told them to check their preferences (which they have not changed). Is anyone else having the same problem?

Probably related to the problems mentioned in this thread, but since no one but Langdon or the site hosts can diagnose or fix things, I think you're more likely to get an actual result if you submit an Administrative Ticket than by asking here ...

Oh that's happening to me as well, and I've contacted the SC about it!

SC members can't do anymore than sumbit the same Administrative Ticket you -- who are having and can describe the problem and your situation (OS, browser, connection, etc.) -- can submit yourself.

what do i need to do to my browser, I've cleared the cache anything else?

I have no idea -- that's why I was referring you to Langdon, who writes (and hopefully understands) the code which runs the site.

I was only suggesting that when you submit a ticket you include as much information as possible describing the problem and the environment/conditions under which it occurs ... though this would be my advice for almost any problem ...

ok no big deal anyway, it's not like my life can't function without them, I'll just wait until it gets sorted out, I'm in no hurry.

I just have to remember to check in frequently - I did kind of depend on the pm's through email to let me know a teammate had something to ask or say. Hope it gets fixed soon :)

Sorry didn't mean to stir the pot...I'm traveling so most of my time on here is via my phone and as we know that means limited access to everything i.e. Tickets to SC, I can't access any of that area at all!!! I was just trying to find out if we were alone or not in our dilemma.

I think this and the thread about not getting DPC notices are related. This is what I just posted there:

This happened occasionally in the past with Mozilla Thunderbird. I still use it, recently updated to version 24.1 from version 19 or so and I see that once again for the last few days I am not getting an e-mail when a PM is sent or when a comment is added after voting, both of which I used to get. There is no mail in spam.

~~What e-mail program(s) do those of you having problems use? See below...~~

ETA: I think the relevant question is what email provider do those of you having problems list with the site. I used to list my comcast address as the place to send messages. I just changed that to an email with a different provider and the mail requesting confirmation got through fine.

ETA: and the notification about a comment received after voting ended just came through, while one presumably sent earlier today, before I changed from a comcast email to something else, did not.
