To submit my pics in I have to really downsize the picture to a 400x90 or something like that and there really small. In Original form my pics are 500-600kb in size? Is there any other way on shortening my kb with out making my pic smaller? |

You should play with resizing the image to a smaller size as well as by saving the image along with altering the 'Quality' of the saved image.
Bringing down the quality of the saved image may take 'nothing' away that you can see visually in the image presented on the screen. However, it may take away all sorts of size.
Experiment a little and see what works out best for your image. You might have to crop out some elements that aren't as important as the subject(s) you are intent on displaying, in order to obtain a good image of what you are attempting to convey.

You have to reduce the quality at which they are saved at. In photoshop there is the "save for web" option. In others, upon saving the image it may ask you at what quality to save at(i.e. 1-100).
Ahh too slow . . lol

save for web at high quality reduces my image to like 94k for an 800x600... save for web is great for shrinking files :)
