Noticed that the front page forum threads cover a time period going back to yesterday, early afternoon. Used to be this was a rolling scroll of postings.

What's keeping YOU away? Of course if you're not here you can't respond I guess. LOL

Is it the weekend (although the front forum page still seems slow to roll over on weekdays too lately)?

 Hmmm ...

Oh well, I'm out too here in a sec. Good news / bad news ... the Bushhog I had out for repair came back this morning. No excuses for not clearing up the horse pasture now. So, I'm out for a good sunburn (not really, I do wear a hat). :-D |

Work. Doing what I can to finish an RFP that is due on Tuesday...

Then I'm going to sorta disappear for three days - heading out on little train trip with the GF for her B-day. |

To paraphrase Yogi Berra, the forums are so busy no one bothers to post anymore ... |

FWIW my Saturdays generally mean doing chores and errands that I didn't have the time or inclination to do after work during the week. Sundays I try to avoid all and any obligations! I seem to post and be more active here during the week, after work.

I rarely post in the forums anymore except to offer my congratulations, condolences, or throw an occasional picture in the Scavenger Hunt thread because, really, it's no fun talking to myself.

		| Took one of my adolescent puppies to a lure coursing field trial, at which he qualified, so tomorrow (if no one else in the house requires my presence) I can get up at oh-dark-thirty to go back to the same field and enter him in competition. Well, it's exciting if you're into it ;-). I did get a few pictures of other dogs running, but it's impossible to hold onto an eager 170-pound dog till you hear the "tally-ho" AND hold onto a camera, so no pix of my boy running. |

Hey! The firewood disappeared. :-) 2 1/2 cords is a lot. I can relate to THAT chore. |

Computer was starting to brain fart, took it to factory settings. Now deleting all the crap, and installing programs I use.
I don't know why but everything seems over sharp and over sized, including type, so I have to work on that also. |

		| Had a volunteer commitment today. I think I'm going to be in the local paper tomorrow (pictured and/or quoted). Damn reporter distracted me from a candid picture I was about to take of my wife next to a stuffed buffalo. |

difficult to imagine what you might have said on such an occasion that would be quotable, but then you continually confound. |

I was hoping this all went down at at some Native-American themed "farm to table" cook-out.

 Um, rare occasion.
 Cherish it.
 Nothing to say. |
