You need to believe that your stunning good looks will trump whatever digital wizardry anyone else comes up with. ;-)

That will work with me for sure ... digital wizardry that's over the top has a hard time getting upper #'s from my keyboard.

I'll do my best to submit an entry within the Minimal rules ... :-)

I did the same thing! I was just finishing up and came to double check the size requirements when I noticed. Oh boy.

I have taken your advice and have decided not to manipulate my entry. :)

I wasn't talking to you, Jeff, you'll need a HEAVY DOSE of digital magic. :P

Mine isn't quite minimal. I think I sharpened it.

According to the challenge rules it states: Expert Editing places minimal restrictions on your post-processing. A full range of editing tools are allowed for touch-up and enhancement as well as for image modification. Please remember, however, that this is a photography contest. You are encouraged to keep your entries photographic in nature, and voters are encouraged to rate entries accordingly.

Sharpening (with the program's default "sharpen" command) is allowed under our Minimal rules -- you can even run the filter more than once.

I have taken a shot using elaborate costumes, mirrors, lighting effects,
double exposures, and, through the grace of the expert rule set,
made it look as if it was taken minimally.

I wish I had realized sooner, I could have planned it a little better. Not much time today but I'll see what I can do. It is cool that it's expert, I just have to figure out a way to use it all classy like. ;)

And I am a self portrait expert. But no expert post processing from me. Too stupid, me. However I want to play so I am in.

Mine's in. It's almost advanced legal, actually, except it's not :-)

Mine is totally advanced legal. Nearly basic legal in fact.

But I'm more dignified-looking than you, you need expert editing to fix that. What are you THINKING, man? It's not too late to wallow in cloning/morphing/liquifying and make yourself into the man of your GF's dreams.

ok, so i retract my original gripe... Expert actually allowed me to take an interesting but so-so capture and give it some pop. i know people say it all the time, but i love it so it'll probably get panned...

I don't know that even expert editing would make that possible. Maybe I could photoshop myself doing all the chores at once.. Yeah. That'd do it. ;)

Besides, I've gone top ten with Advanced entries in an Expert challenge before. There's a bit of pride in that ya know. ;)

Hey! So did I!
The long hair was the biggest work in mine. Didn't touch the curves as I'm "Angelina at 50".

I still look like me :-( I'm doomed to look like me. Anybody have any ideas who I could reasonably be made to look like, other than me? Jejeje...
