I suspect that the mutant Pac-Man is really a support for the pole, given the, erm, substantial nature of it. |

It appears to be a spring loaded output shaft. Does have anything to do with yard work? Maybe a weed eater head. |

Nay on both robot nipple manufacturing and yard work.
First hint(s): it does not at all resemble most other objects of this type. It can be used for work, but it gets a lot of use for play. |

Next hint: it is used indoors. I suppose it could be used outdoors, but rarely is.
