I suspect that the mutant Pac-Man is really a support for the pole, given the, erm, substantial nature of it.

Ah...well, I'll give it to you :)
In fact it is the counter weight on a boom pole

You deserve it Fritz :)

Ah, Nadine, you are too kind. And your kindness will be rewarded with... a much tougher one!

Only during the full moon!

Oh, and no, not a camera grip. The surface is "designed" to grip though ;-)

Turtle heads?
08/04/2013 11:29:30 AM · #5389
Not even 10 minutes!

This is a two headed turtle named Thelma and Louise who's at the San Antonio Zoo.

Here's the next one...

It will probably take more than 10 minutes, but I won't be surprised if someone can identify it quickly.

Fine-adjustment controls on a machine for manufacturing robot nipples?
08/04/2013 04:13:48 PM · #5396
It appears to be a spring loaded output shaft. Does have anything to do with yard work? Maybe a weed eater head.
08/04/2013 06:26:55 PM · #5397
Nay on both robot nipple manufacturing and yard work.

First hint(s): it does not at all resemble most other objects of this type. It can be used for work, but it gets a lot of use for play.

Nope, and the guesses are not getting any warmer!

Next hint: it is used indoors. I suppose it could be used outdoors, but rarely is.

ETA: I can't emphasize enough how it does not look like what it is.

A motorized robot nipple. ...or an ice cream machine.
