has declared bankruptsy

If approved they are going to start liquidating assets. I know they have some museums with priceless art. Wow, never too big to fail I guess. Even though people have been moving out for years.

Years of mis-management and a mass exodus of people. Rome was a might power once too.

(The unions are dead, main street ignored-
...yet in other news Wall street hit an all time high!
Capitalism therefore works and the Government should keep its hand off!)

why? it was there own doing, they had no plan to grow business lost to a dying manufacturing industry. the people refused elect people with the know how to fix the problem.

unions and pensions destroyed it and now the pension funds are suing to block. one of these days we need to realize that people live to long to continue to allow pensions and public retirement funding to continue.

I agree that Detroit has ben stuggling for a long time. 1 of he poblems being the unions
