Heh... How insensitive.
The best part is that a real NTSB intern confirmed the names. How dull are people!? |

...and it seems that the airline is initiating a law suit over this.

Well... They are going to need money for a new plane...
I'm not sure who qualifies for the dumbest person in this whole deal.
1. The moron who thought that this idea was funny, in the first place?
2. The moron who called the NTSB to actually try to confirm those names?
3. The moron who wrote the copy, and put it on the graphic and TelePrompTer? (This may be a team award)
4. The moron who read the copy without a semi conscious thought in their head? |

Uh, no. It was actually quite funny, if not too soon. Kudos to them, IMO.
2. The moron who called the NTSB to actually try to confirm those names?
I am doubting that actually occurred, but if so, the dumbest person would be the one at the NTSB that "Confirmed"
3. The moron who wrote the copy, and put it on the graphic and TelePrompTer? (This may be a team award)
Second place.
4. The moron who read the copy without a semi conscious thought in their head?
DING! DING! DING! This one gets my vote. That's why they are called "empty suits/skirts" - they are robotic morons. |

1. Agreed... Maybe a bit too soon, but totally hilarious.
2. It did happen, and a REAL NTSB intern did confirm it.
3. This is the real problem IMO, there were multiple sets of hands on this, did NO-ONE get the joke? How is that possible - I laugh everytime I drive past a funnily named Chinese restaurant!
4. Yes, they are morons, which is why this should have been caught at #3 above. Their job is to read and to use their head to bobble, not think. |

I remember that guy who called the Howard Stern show and get phone bomb the news shows with fake info.
goes to show how much effort actually goes into fact checking.
Its hilarious because it exposes how F-----d up our news media is. When i become president of the world, im banning television and internet news, going back to newspapers only, so they at least they have the time to get their facts straight and not rush out a story. |

Seriously, she made sure to pronounce 'Fuk' in a non-offensive way. How could she not have noticed the hoax when she was running through the names beforehand? |
