		| | Hi I have a new Leica X2 as my compact portable camera.
I am trying to add this in my preferences but there isn't the option to do this.
Can anyone help ? Can DPC make this available?

As a side note I am very pleased with the camera and I can't wait to really use it during my pending Florida holiday.
I know people will say, it doesn't have a zoom lens but it is light, compact and gives excellent images.
If I need a proper DSLR I will use my Canon.

I just need to add it to my preferences and upload a few images to DPC.
Does anyone else have one of these?
If so what do you think?
 Any pointers or banana skins?

 Thanks again,

 Guy

		| | To add your Leica to the equipment list; go to the Help drop down menu,
 go to Contact us,
click the line for DPChallenge - Equipment Addition/Change to add you camera to the database.

Maybe include a link for the camera,
 Leica X2

 Enjoy your new camera :)

		| | Thanks Leo !
 I'll try.
It doesn't help being completely inept, but I continue in the belief that enjoying it is all that matters !
 Thanks again.

		| | Congrats! it's a great camera. A bit of OT, but what a coincidence... as I was eyeing the Leica X2 today. A rental for starters. I wondered how it compared to the Fuji X100S. Have you tried the latter?

I have seen a blog where an experienced Leica user preferred the x100 to the x1 and the x100s has some improvements over the x100 as does the x2 over the x1

A review here on the x100s X100s review

I yearn for a Leica Monochrom but at £6,000 that ain't going to happen !

 Hi
No I haven't, but I have used the X1 Pro
I wanted that one as it has more lens options than the X2.
But then; in a moment of clarity I realised why I wanted a light weight, compact, easy to use, DNG / RAW capable camera.
That then became my motivation to get the X2.
Sure it was a bit more, and sure it isn't as configurable,but.....
It looks retro, takes great shots and I guess will hold a bit of value should I ever sell it.
If I need a DSLR with lens options I'll get out the Canon.
Until then the X2 is a great travel compact camera.
But I'm sure the Fuji is a great tool as well !
