I titled it "There is no joy in Mudville"...look where the ball is :)
I know a lot of folks don't like the selective color, and most of the time I don't either, but I think it works in this example...just desaturated and used the history brush.

I like it! Great shot and good use of desaturation. How do you like your Pentax, btw?

I've also started playing with the history brush lately.

Interested in your input on the Pentax also. Either Pentax or the Sony 828 in the future.

I like the camera, but I hate the name :)...seriously, I have no complaints. I just finished shooting a season of lacrosse and appreciate the light weight body more than ever.

one other gripe....minor, but a gripe nonetheless. The CF card is VERY difficult to remove. They should supply tweezers when you buy the camera. :)

Say pentax-asterisk-ist three times ... and I don't care what they say; typographically that is not a "star."

You may want to try the reverse, everyone in color but the batter! That would hold more true to 'no joy in mudville'. Nice stop action shot!

I like this idea too. That was one heckuva change-up!
