sitting at a 4.69 with a comment from cutout.
i'll say that i agree with his assessment, but not for apparent reasons. I don't feel that it's a bad thing because if i had done otherwise, i fear it would have not come out even as well as the current one did compared to what i had envisioned. I wanted to do a good job with my vision and regardless of score i succeeded in that; and i think that is what truly should count if he recognizes what my entry is based on the reference to his comment. :) |

Welll hey - don't hate me, but I certainly do.
Of course, in this challenge, I reported one image - and it's a fantastic image.
Please, if it was your image, take it as a complement - I don't think there's anyway that's possible without breaking the rules, and if you didn't? AWESOME.

Because that way I can feel free to vote as though you did follow the rules, and let site council sort it out, as the rules ask us to do.
I LOVE getting validation requests, it means I've made the viewer believe my image is so darn good it HAD to be cheating.
Sorry if it hurts your feelings, that's most certainly never the intent.

I think it helps the photographer to be reported. The reason being is that is that images that look over-edited will be voted down by some users (even if they shouldn't be) - reporting an image forces SC to check it and the photographer then gets the 'This image has been validated' message under it, heading off continuing score-downs. I've actually asked someone to report mine before just so that this workflow can be initiated and I can get the message shown (It was a Minimal challenge). |

I can see that Paul, makes sense I guess. To be honest I don't pay that much notice of the rules, I simply enjoy creating images and posting them on the many sites I'm a member of plus my own sites and hope people get enjoyment fromthemas much as I do. It's also why I do exhibitions and frankly give away pictures rather then sell. I enjoy seeing people enjoy them....
