As u can see i own a Kodak DX6490. Recently my friend's camera was damaged by his son so i lent him my camera on his one day business trip. when he returned the camera back to me to my amazement i found 2 fingerprint marks right on my lens. so i went to my local photo print shop and was recommended to use a lense cleaning paper. after using it i do not find the cleaning paper being much of an help.
so please if some1 know of anything i can use please let me know. i would really appreciate any reply.

Lens pen. It's so cheap I have two. I wouldn't use the lens paper unless it says it's for camera lenses.

I've never used one, but lens pens are sopposed to be great. I use 3M Scotch Brite High Performance cloths/lens cleaning solution. They don't leave streaks like lens paper does.

A little brush-like device to clean your lenses.

A brush is on one end; but the most important end for fingerprints is an end that looks like a felt covered shallow suction cup. You use that end to rub your lens, and fingerprints, as well as residue left from raindrops are quickly removed. |

I got mines at Fry Electronics for $5.00 each but this was awhile ago. I think they were trying to clear inventory.
I think places like Target, Walmart, Kmart, would carry them. |
