In september I will be starting school as a Photography Major. The school requires a Film Camera, and I obviously all ready own the 300D. Here are a few questions I have...

In the upcoming summer months, I plan on purchasing some new glass. With that in mind...

What glass should I purchase so that I can interchange between the 300D and the Canon Film camera I will choose?

What Canon Film camera should I choose that best works with the 300D in comparison?

 Thanks in advance :)

		Hi Jeremy

I really like the Canon EOS Elan 7E as a basic film body, its not very expensive $320, and it compliments the 300D and 10D nicely. Its also compatible with all the EF lenses, though not with the EF-S lens that comes with the 300D kit. The 7E also features eye control focus which is really cool once you get used to it. They do have a Elan 7(N I think) that doesnt have the eye control, it runs maybe $20 cheaper.

 Here's the Elan 7E at B&H //www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=206441&is=USA

If you want a more basic and older film body I really like the EOS 650. Came out in the late 80's but is a really good body, very durable. You can pick them up on eBay for $50-$60 a lot of times...

 Hope this helps...

The Elan II is a very nice camera. You should be able to get one used very cheap. The local camera store had an Elan II body for sale for $263 CDN (< $200 US).
