But consider these triggers instead of the 603's, much more capability.

Those are nice triggers. Unfortunately, you'll need a flash that costs 3x as much as the neewer (and even that is still a Yongnuo brand TTL) to take advantage of the TTL capabilities of that trigger |

When he told me he just picked up his car I assumed it would be spotless, but one must never assume! I don't think I will be doing these types of shoots again anyway, unless he likes them and tells all his friends, lol, but my work flow has been outdoor portrait shoots, which so far everyone of my clients have been extremely happy with. But thanks for the input, must look into those lights Cory. |
And I'd say that for a first try you did pretty good.
I'd try to tempt him out for a 'free' shoot and see if you can really nail it with what you now know.
And, besides, we're just crazy picky - I bet he'll be pretty happy! |

And maybe on a day you don't have to work around his work schedule ... |

Thanks Mark and Cory for the encouragement!
Cory that's a good idea, I can offer to do a re-shoot if he's not happy.... I'll find out today if he liked them or not as he's coming for the viewing.

My advice.
If you are going to get into shooting on a more professional basis look at purchasing the following lens (which is way cheaper than the canon one). You really need faster glass.
Tamron 17-50 f2.8 VC
Once you have used a zoom that is constant through the range you will be in love and wonder how you worked without it.

I thought that represented a happy elephant. Or maybe Jimmy Durante ... :-) |
