This is really a must see. An amazing exercise in balance and concentration.
Watch the video from beginning to end, you won't be sorry.
Quite incredible, you will actually feel soothed and relaxed at the end.

Mind boggling. Doesn't even seem humanly possible. Thanks for sharing.
One observation though: as far as I can tell that video is a single, 7+ minute performance repeated immediately for 15 minutes total? In other words, only need to watch the first half? Or did I miss something? |

Yes you are 100% right. The show actually ends at 7 minutes 45 seconds and then it's a repeat thereafter. |

not sure of the details, but there are a few practitioners of this amazing feat. here's another one (sans feather). |

Yes I know Skip. There are in fact apparently only 6 people who perform this act. https://plus.google.com/112776394804213099516/posts/LHaDV2xcuH2 But I chose to pick the one by Miyoko because she does it in such a beautiful elegant way and the music gives it a nice atmosphere as well plus the facial reactions of the judges adds more interest.
I thought just this one would suffice.
Here's another one by a male performer and filmed with nice close-up detail of the placing of the sticks.

Y'all have piqued my interest, but sadly I will have to wait until this evening to watch.

I followed the links and watched the first one half way through - very interesting to watch.
I dispute the 'only six persons who do this act' claim though. Just following the you-tube links, each one shows at least two other performers with videos on you-tube. Going through those, yes, some are the same. But I found at least 8 different people doing the same thing with videos on you-tube.
Still impressive concentration though. |

Just had a chance to watch it; very cool performance. I liked the inclusion of the feather, and the removal of the feather as final emphasis on it all truly being very sensitively balanced. |
