Some nice stuff...when he isn't self promoting
From the site bio:
"He has sold hundreds of millions of dollars of his artwork, has 13 galleries of his own and counts presidents and celebrities among his many collectors. Exposure from his NBC produced TV series, "From the Edge with Peter Lik", has established Lik as a household name." I have never heard of him. The last I knew, I have always lived in a household.

personally i don't put much care into if and how someone toots their own horn when they market themselves. He is clearly successful and is doing something right. |

We first saw his work in Cairns, Australia around 10 years ago and thought then how commercial he was (in a good way), it was a very professional gallery in the tourist area and his products were very well marketed. Then last week while we were looking around the galleries in Soho NY we came across his gallery there. It was just as slick & professional but I did feel he had upped the ante on self-promotion a bit. Love or hate his stuff, you have to say it is high quality. |

Been to his gallery in Aspen a couple of times, absolutely stunning images when viewed in person. The giant prints of his work are breathtaking. |

He has a gallery here in Honolulu. Very impressive work.
I've watched the show a few times, too. I like seeing how he gets some of his shots. |

I just went into the Lik gallery in Key West. It was worth the 1300 mile drive.
The salesman started trying to sell me one. I just chuckled and told him not to waste his time.
