We need proof that your submission is valid. Please waste no time in submitting proof.
If My score falls within the top 5 or 10 photos in a challenge, I expect to have a request for proof.
When my score isn't really doing very well and I get a request for proof, I think it would be nice to know what others see that make them think it might be done outside of the rules. I'm not unhappy that someone looked long enough at my work to wonder. I just want to know what it is they are looking at and if they like the technique or not.
1 out of every three of my entries (10 so far, I think) has been questioned for proof. I never know why or what they were questioned for. My current shot is a very simple straightforward shot. As always, I will be sending it in later today, But I want to learn why it was questioned. Is it possible, even in a private email, to be informed?

It's been previously stated that we can't give out the reason at the time we request validation. Once it is validated, I think it should be OK for you to be informed by PM, but we probably won't remember to tell you.
Hopefully, if someone writes a validation note they will see this thread and send you a PM ... |

Me too, my rust entry is a very boring straightforward snapshot and I got a "submit proof" request. I'd like to know why.

Aaaahh, This does make sense. Thank You GeneralE.
So after the picture is validated, it would not be out of line for me to ask any one of the SC??? Sometimes I know even before I enter my shot that someone might question it, but this current one is a pretty simple shot.
Thank you again! |

| Asking afterwards should be fine ... we've just been really busy lately and so I'm trying to not promise a really timely answer, but you should get one eventually! |
