Stumbled across this on another forum I use. Anyone familiar with this? Looks legit.

Terms seem fine and reasonable to me.

Looks pretty legit to me too ... but I haven't read the fine print. "Retaining rights" doesn't mean you aren't conferring a (necessary) license on the contest operators -- it is the limitations of those license rights I'd want to check out.
For example, I think it's fine to offer them a (free) license to use the image in their own promotional materials (even print -- brochures, posters, etc.), but not if they'd want to sublicense them as stock images for some travel agency or resort.
Interesting they want a series (8-15) photos and and accompanying text -- it seems more than just a "photo" contest ... |
