Very interesting article. Did Vermeer and others use the CO to create under drawings?
Alexkc might find this interesting too considering his recent superb tribute.

Thanks for mentioning me Harvey!

Of course some of the old masters used camera obscura. One of the most famous was Canaletto, whose painting representing Venezia are some of the masterpieces of the past centuries.
