Hey all

Was going through a bag of belongings that I haven't seen for a good 20 yrs or so and amongst them found a card from a guy whom I briefly dated. He was a freelance photographer in Ottawa at the time, approx 1992. He was about 2 years younger than me so early- mid-forties by now. His name is Jeffrey William Badovinac. Just been searching for him on Facebook and Google, no luck. I do plan to try the alumni organization for the college we both attended, where we met as 2nd year students.

Anyway just curious if anyone here has access to membership lists of various pro photog organizations, and if you do could you please run his name through for me? Any other help much appreciated as always.

I wouldn't blame you if you thought of that video during a booty call, either. ;-)

Argh! NOOOOO!!!!!!! *tearing hair out*

Just to clear things up. This is NOT a case of trying to rekindle old flames. We were friends before and after we dated, more than anything else. Mostly I'm just curious as to whether he went on to make his name as a photog, did he stay in the business etc. Jeez!!

We're all quite capable of reading between the lines, here. You're not fooling anybody.

*looking around for a brick wall to bash head against* Aw dang I'm in BC so buildings are made of wood, not brick. Will have to wait til I get home.

OK Slippy my neck's getting sore from my chain being yanked. I already have a wonderful bf who is also my best friend and life partner. And he's a great photographer too.

Haven't you, or anyone else here, ever been curious about what became of old friends from school and just wanted to see wtf they're doing now with their lives? I just stumbled across the business card he was using at the time for the first time in 20 some years. For all I know he's fat and bald and rocks only p&ses now. Still, all I want to know is what became of him.

Soooo, if I'm understanding you correctly, you're only interested in the booty call if he has top-end gear?

I'm looking for Aaron Radomski, my best buddy in 7th grade, who moved away. Let me know if you find him.

And you can keep his booty. I just want to chat.

Did a quick google search and found this --- maybe his dad, if this is the right family. Good luck with your search.

I had a friend (really, just a friend!) in high school 30 years ago that I've totally lost touch with. In the past 15 years or so, I've probably searched for him half a dozen times, and never found any trace, to the point where I assumed that he had probably died young. He had leukemia when we were in high school, so it seemed the most likely outcome.

This thread caused me to google him one more time. And....he's on LinkedIn now. Scarily enough, he looks just like his dad. Off to make the connection!

It's really amazing what you can find on the internet. Try googling yourself and/or your family members... If you have a web presence, anyone can track you down.

You might want to check stuff like Canada 411... there are two people with the initial J and that same last name there.
