I finally got the battery charged and read a whole bunch real fast and then took a pic of my assistant. He wasn't amused by the flash. Only took another 50 or so and tried the 70-200 f/4... whoa... nice. Huge learning curve is upon me ! Hope to have more images up soon.. at least when I take a good one (LOL)

This camera is pretty neat !! So muuch to learn... to add insult to injury - I also got Alien Bee lights today as well. Now I have to figure them out as well. A few test shots were not very good. The Canon keeps wanting to add it's own flash, so I took 10 minutes figuring out how to turn it off. So many things in this manual... going to be a fun summer.
I took a little longer editing this one..
Don't worry... I'll eventually sleep, then go away quietly.. LOL

Rooster... you got that right !! This is my first 'real' digital.. c'mon.. my old Mavica-81 had no options to speak of. I 'do' have 35mm experience so we'll see what happens next.
Yeah, it's good... all is well...

This is a 100 times better than my first pic, just took a pic of me in the mirror with the flash, not a good idea...haha
