This is why I should take my camera out with me more..

Dropping of my wife's colleague's cat on Easter Saturday and driving home near the coast when I remembered there is a lighthouse nearby (love them for some reason) that I'd always meant to go see.

Parked up just as the sun was setting and had to run across the beach to get the shot. You guy's may be thinking "meh.. it ain't a great photo pal"... but I'm just getting into photography, and really really happy with it!

It's wall worthy in my book.
Very nice.

I'd be happy with that shot, and I'm not just getting into photography.

But what I really want to hear is *why* were you driving around with your wife's colleague's cat?

She'd been on holiday and didn't want to leave it in a cattery so we had a furry little visitor for a week. Gotta take the rough with the smooth dude.

I love lighthouses. Hoping to make it to the Outer Banks someday soon to snap some.

I just love it when a little extra effort has such a happy ending. And there's a cat in the story!! What could be better :-)

Fort Perch Rock Lighthouse is very popular on DPC (and for good reason) - it's a great location for shooting.

Great lighthouse shot, but where are the cat pictures? Everyone knows the internet is all about cat pictures...

Even with a new monitor I cannot see a cat being dropped off the lighthouse. What am I missing?
