That happens when you inadvertently drag the vote number to the comment field. Happened to me too, not noticing it, and then voting.

is this thread talking about the FS challenge? If so may I join Neil in the bottom feeder group.

I will admit I thought of my image on a much higher level then the general mass. It does make me ponder why the votes are so low. I know it is far from perfect as it was my first time creating such an image, but I felt proud of what I accomplished. I did not expect to win, but I really did expect a bit higher score (silly me for thinking such a thing.) This is a tough crowd. I do hope a few brave souls will stop by after the challenge and share some thoughts because I will be attempting this type of image again and I would like to see some improvement.

My preliminary research on DPC voters says is typically low in the first quarter of each year (with a high spike in December). This perceived pattern does not qualify for more research/confirmation due to the nature of myproject. However I suggest it could be related to sunlight hours
