Took a side trip to the river yesterday and originally walked right past this guy. Didn't seem him until coming back through a few minutes later - dang near stepped on it!

Very cool find. Not cool to step on or get bit buy.
I was talking to a guy last summer who was fishing in upstate NY and he was bit.
He ended up with blood poisoning I guess from the bacteria in the snakes mouth not from venom.
