I'm looking for a way to carry around a Digital Rebel with several lenses (the largest a 70-200 f/4L), a 420ex flash and an Apple 12" iBook. Obviously, there are backpacks made for this very purpose, but I don't want to constantly lug around something too huge if I can avoid it. The iBook is smaller than the standard laptop computers these backpacks are built to accomodate, so I might be able to find a more portable solution.

Can anybody recommend a particularly compact shoulder bag or backpack under $120? I'm leaning heavily towards the LowePro Computrekker (I have another Lowepro bag already). What about the Canon backpack? I know it's not on the same quality level, but I can't even find a picture of the Canon's interior or what it holds. I've looked at Tamrac backpacks, but they're certainly not cheap. Any other suggestions? |

I have the Tamrac Adventure 8 I took it to Europe for 3 weeks, it held all my Sony 828 equipment a portable hard drive and all the chargers cords and my IDs, etc. I purchased it from Amazon.I think they have several different sizes of backpacks, good luck.

I've been happy so far with my canon BP 200 EG for about $40 at a brick&mortar. nice size...lots of goodie pockets. probably not very good though for trying to carry a laptop around in it. hope this helps |

		| Thanks, Eric. It certainly helps to see the inside. Why in the world would Canon NOT have an image of the bag's interior on their site? |
