Because the shez tribute was made a 2 week challenge for some reason, there is no challenge due on Sunday. For some of us, this is like the sun not rising in the morning.

Perhaps a speed challenge is in order?

This is the one, I would think:

Is that confirmed somewhere (have I missed something) - we've had longer submission periods before where the Sunday challenge still comes up haven't we?

I think he meant "There is no submission due tonight", not that "there will be no new challenge announced tonight".

The first is disorienting enough; It would have been nice to see a 24-hour speed challenge announced YESTERDAY, which would have been "due" tonight. Whether the second is going to be the case, who knows?

The way I look at it all, incidentally, is that each time I check back to see what I'm forgetting, wondering what's due to be posted by tonight, I end up remembering Sherpet again, which I suppose was the intent of the entire exercise, so it's a heck of a memorial :-)

It kind of feels like I haven't gotten my homework done... but then I realize there was none.

Indeed - a good point.

I'm bored today I think it would be fun to do a challenge with a nice simple title like "black and white" and just give us a few hours and see what everyone would come up with. Of course it will never happen but it would be fun.
