I have so much respect for your work that I will enter for this challenge. Whatever it costs, it will be an honor to recognize the master you are.

I'm a tremendous fan of his, and love his work.. But have been incredibly busy with work off late and couldn't manage shooting for it, nor do I dare pretend to come close to his work and creative eye. Will love watching and voting though! :-)

I have been looking forward to this one. Saturday was too busy. Sunday I found a block of time and drove 45 minutes to downtown Chicago. Parked and opened my camera bag... no camera. Drove home. Didn't have the time or energy to return. Perhaps a night jagar shot...

I sure hope this doesn't descend into a montage of cobblestone walkways and candid street shots. John's work is broader than that, with horses, cats, dogs, sheep, old rooftops, sunsets, shoes, skaters, cyclists, old rooms, chainsaws and eggs, graffiti and just plain old trees and fields.

About the only dominant theme I see in his work is a penchant for producing very strong black and white pieces, poignant and meaningful titles and imagery that tells a story.

I fear I will have none to enter given the blizzard. That would be dissapointing.

I'm in - for a comment from you, John, if for no other reason :)

I'm in. There is a little cobblestone traffic island across from our local Walmart. Almost felt like I was driving through a quaint European village.

I can always depend on myself to take a couple of candids each week. This time I ended up at so many sporting events without a single cobblestone in sight. lol! Just my luck.
