i know a lot on here shop online or bh in the states but i love my local camera shop harrisons cameras sheffield, family firm great knowledgable staff who all shoot varied gear canon, nikon, 4/3/ and medium format digital

i went in today to return a external mic for my 5d mk2 they'd lent me free of charge that was brand new, no deposits etc,

i picked up a sigma 15mm fish eye 2.8 for £275 reduced from £400 (i buy nearly all my 2nd hand gear from them) 12 month warranty on all 2nd hand purchases, they trade and do swaps etc

but best of all next week im picking up a 1dx and 24-70 mk2 for a weeks free trail :) :) :) smiles dont do justice to how much im looking forward to it. (its through the cps though you need gold or platinum membership, which is free in europe, but it depends on the gear you've got)

so i just wanted to share the love, every time i go in I'm there for an hour chatting away and talking photos :)

there is one not to far from me that I do enjoy because of the quality of their prints. on our 9th anniversry i got the prints from our wedding done (we had never gotten around to doing it) and i got an 11x13, 4 8x10 and several 4x6 smaller for $100. It's still probably the best gift i ever gave her and the quality was great.

Giles, that is a really useful recommendation - I am only a little over an hour up the road, and I may make a trip down sometime to visit.

We LOVE Orleans Camera, just up the road from us, serious Canon dealership, great prints, knowledgeable and pretty much permanent staff. We shop with them as much as we can, though much of what we acquire is used gear, which they don't often have...

ok its just like brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr(its a a sweet noise) i shot 800 in an 80 min rugby match haha

my shop has a fairly good and fast changing second hand section, the sigma 120-300 2.8 is a second hand one they want £1000 for it

ive got 3 of the staff as facebook freinds and today i talked a guy into buying a nikon 35mm 1.8 did a better job than there sales guy, shooting gigs with a kit lens wondering why he was struggling,

got some prints there two and they display some of my pics in store

looking a the pics on my mac I'm stunned how much clearer they are than my 5d mkii even though the mega pixel is almost the same

gonna see what they offer me for my bigma in swap for the other sigma, 1dx if i win the lottery
