Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later, and today it found me. I'm officially the big 5-0!! I wasn't really believing it to be true until I saw my age changed on my profile. If DPC says I am, then it must be true. LOL!

Anyway, what I really wanted to share was the fact that one of my gifts from my amazing sister Linda was a 16x24 print of one of my photographs. When I saw it my jaw dropped. It's simply gorgeous and stunning to look at. It promptly found a home on one of my walls. It's so amazing. The photo here looks pretty darn good, but it doesn't even do it justice to what it looks like in real life. Such an amazing gift!

Obviously I have the light turned and shining on it which is casting some tungsten light on the bottom of the canvas. In person it's an even exposure and the same brownish antique processing I gave it. It's my "Piano Man" photo that's done pretty well for me. Those are my own hands BTW. LOL.

I just wanted to share! :)

Happy Birthday. 50 isn't bad, I looked at it as a badge of honor. By the way, I hit the big 6-0 in April.

Happy Birthday Dave....

It has to happen to all of us at sometime....(some sooner than others!!!...lol) Just remember to really enjoy this time....because in 10 years you'll be 60 and wishing for the "younger days"...

Fritz tells it like it is. The Grass is greener - and in California (they tell me) purer - than anywhere else.

Happy birthday!! Though I'd probably give you a 5 on your shot -- the lighting's harsh, the color's off, things are tilted a bit. I gave you much higher on your print, though. :D

Aw, 50 isn't such a big deal. Been there, done that, skipped buying the t-shirt ;-) Happy Birthday and congrats on the print. Always fun to be so pleased with your own artwork that you hang it on your own wall! Posing in front of it may be going a bit far, but then you're still young ...
