Not trying to be a pita (just comes naturally) but for the life of all that's good and holy I can't figure this stuff out.
1. What's the general consensus on DNMC? I mean, I get that it stands for don't nom my chicken and I'm totally with you guys on that one cause let's face it, who wants their chicken nommed by someone else? But seriously, is it uncouth to mark an image that way? There were several in the last challenge that had me puzzled, so I just didn't vote on them. I hate to call anyone out but...
2. would it bother you folks if i typed in all lowercase and didnt use apostrophes when im logged in on my ipad? cause in order to access the forum from there i have to use puffin browser cause of a navigation issue on this site with safari and puffin doesnt fix stuff and honestly its just exhausting putting in all that punctuation. seriously, what did people do before autocorrect? anyhow, i hope that doesn't bother anyone but if it does, suck it.
3. Was that last sentence too harsh? Am I allowed to swear? I can try and be good but I don't swear anywhere else online and I'd really like a place I can swear.
That's all for now. I'm headed to Atlanta this afternoon, anyone else going that wants to meet up and buy me a drink?

1. Prob 50/50, it's a very polarizing subject. Me? I could care less if someone puts it on my image. Everyone has their own opinion, even if they are wrong.
2. It doesn't bother me, but I feel compelled to tell you to "suck it" right back. Seriously, why ask if you don't care?
3. Is it really swearing if you type it?
If anyone does buy you a drink, put a straw in it and suck it.

No, it isn't uncouth, especially if the image just doesn't speak to you. But beware......the DNMC thing speaks to you as well.

And a fine howdy-do to you, too, young lady. Bite me! LOL!!! Yes, there are some grammar and spelling police here, but it's a thankless job for them, and the rest of us just snicker./...

Point 1. DNMC is half the battle IMHO. Pretty pictures are nice, but the challenge is just as important, and if you give me a nice landscape when the challenge was Faceless or Celebration and tell me there are very small people in it celebrating, you won't get full marks from me. Of course just slapping down "DNMC" is rude, after all I may have just missed a tie in that everyone else sees but me, so I try to seek a possible tie in. But if you don't vote on the ones you don't get, you penalize the ones that really nailed the challenge, and we will end up with another pretty picture of the week site.
Point 2.TYPING IN ALL LOWER CASE IS RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NEVER DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Point 3.We need more swearing, especially over in Rant. Swearing is a great skill and people who can do it well should be admired.
Ignore Smardaz' advice about using a straw on drinks strangers buy you. I am not saying it is part of his plans, but it is well known that roofy powder sinks to the bottom of a glass and some people want you to drink with straws to make sure it takes effect more quickly. Never trust anyone on this site. Or in bars. Or outside of bars. Time for my meds. |

| I think it is absolutely disgraceful that this site hasn't fixed its Safari, iPad issues. I've complained about it numerous times on this forum. My membership has expired, and I have yet to renew. I would in a second if these issues were fixed. |

aw, damn. I forgot we're on the internet and nothing's private anymore. So, yeah, I give. That's me. But if anyone tries to lure me out with a craigslist ad or something, watch out, I *might* be packing. |
