A photo of something relating to 'H'. All photos to be titled 'H', Not 'Hippo' or 'Horny' or 'Handstand', just 'H'. Advanced editing.
Or any other letter. |

You can. And you'd probably get kudos for doing so. You just couldn't call it 'Horny Hippo doing Handstand'. You'd call it 'H' and people would vote on the picture, not the title. |

we had and have some really good challenge topics recently, please don' t start that pseudo-intellectual-but-basically-just-another-free-study crap again. what's the point in that ( and how is that a challenge?

Agree.
Part of the reason I really started to dislike this place. With challenges like My Left Foot, I put real thought into my entry and it was fun again. The photo itself might not do well, but the fun was there. Plus, I have some amazing outtake photos. |

Sorry. I didn't realise this 'crap' had been an issue before. Is there a list of challenge suggestions that you'd agree with, to save me causing further upset? Obviously not pseudo-intellectual. |

Didn't want to upset anyone. You could just answer my question. What's the point in a "H" challenge? One could enter any image where there's a subject starting with "H" in any language anywhere in the picture or anything that looks like a "H". And why not title other than "H"? I'm not at all for shoehorning images into a challenge by giving a title that creates a link to the topic, but for me titles are part of the image. If you don't want to see them just resize your browser window. |

I actually loved the H option -- I hate coming up with titles. And it's interesting to let a photography stand on it's own without a title to help every once in awhile. :)
