		| | Where can I have this done?
I have a client requesting a photo to be mounted onto acrylic, but there don't seem to be many places in the U.S. to get this done. Almost all of the searching that I have done results in stores in the U.K.

Specifications for the job: a 40" by 60" images split into five panels measuring 12" wide by 40" tall and mounted onto/within acrylic. There is a local photo lab here in Miami that will produce the finished product for a total of $1300.00 plus tax! What?!?

I hope to find a place that can do a quality job for a more reasonable fee.

Does anybody here have any suggestions for labs that mount photos and/or print on acrylic?

 Thanks

		| | Thanks for replying even though this thread seemed to have been killedbe resting. My client found a company in Jacksonville, Florida to print and mount if for her, but they are having some sort of trouble with the image that I uploaded to their FTP site. I hope they figure it out because I am definitely interested in seeing how it turns out.
I like the idea and I'd still like to search for other sources for this process.

		| | A few choices... Bumblejax, AcrylicPix, WestCoast Imaging, Laumont, Art-Hammer. Note, that some of the business print directly on to the acrylic (cheaper but lesser in quality) while the others (Bumblejax, WestCoast Imaging and Laumont) face-mount prints to the acrylic which offers a higher end look (more "pop") |

 That is interesting.
I saw this in Europe 2 years ago and loved the look. I finally found a company here in South Africa who will do it. When I talked to them they do the latter, but I wanted it done directly on the acrylic, because I want to have the picture outdoors. After chatting to the salesperson I gave up on the idea, now it seems I can start searching for someone who does it the "cheap" way :-)

 Thanks!
