I'm going to be away for a couple of weeks and have just entered images into Abstract and Rust.
I'd really like to submit originals today if possible (just incase the impossible happens and either of them do well).
Can any SC tell me how I might do that before voting even starts?
THANKS SO MUCH!

| You'll have to mail them directly to either Drew or Langdon so they can manually insert them into the validation system. Drew has has email address listed in his profile; you can probably guess what Langdon's is once you see Drew's... |

Obviously emailing them isn't the preferred method (that would be the automated system), but since you are leaving, there really isn't much choice... =]

Maybe it's time they come up with a preferred automated method. Is this something that has been discussed by the SC? If not I think it it worthy of dicussion. Myself, I could get called away at anytime for work, which would put me in the same situation. With summer upon us many people will be on holidays, working or whatever away from their homes; for people without portable connectivity it could be a problem.

You could upload the originals to your own webspace (as far as I know any provider gives that) or third party website (pbase hidden gallery for example) and sent the admins the direct http links to them with a note that they can be found there in case they are needed?

| And while your at it you could put a note on pics at pbase, or wherever, asking viewers to drop by dpc and vote you a 10. |

At Pbase you can hide your photos from viewers except the ones whom you gave the direct links.
BTW, it is not dpc illegal to put your work up elsewhere. It happens and happened all the time.
