The main question is to the owner of 5D M2 or M3, does anyone of you tried Sigma 10-20mm on and see what you see in view finder? it seems like with 6D it connected because of EF support BUT the field view he just a rectangle not really a good view like very wide as I was expecting with 10mm.
I will try to take a few shots and upload tomorrow but thought to check with you guys. |

| the sigma 10-20 is a DC lens designed for APS-C sensors, so its not surprising that the projected image doesn't cover the whole FF sensor. you can use it, so long as the mirror doesn't hit the back of the lens and just crop of the edges in post. |

This is what I found in some another forum.

Sigma DC is not exactly the same as Canon EF-S. A Sigma DC lens for Canon mount is actually an EF-mount lens. DC lenses while projecting a cropped image circle does not however conform to the EF-S specification's shorter distance between the rear element and the focal plane. Thus the rear elements do not extend into the mirror box of a "full-frame" EF-only body like an EF-S lens would. It is safe to mount a Sigma 10-20 DC lens on a Canon 5D but you will of course only see a cropped image circle.

It seems like what above said is what I am seeing in my 6D too :(

same with my Tokina AF 12-24mm f/4.0 AT-X Pro DX
If I go FF the lens is gone...
I was looking at Canon website and EF 17-40mm f/4L USM would be a nice equivalent. |

And Canon's 16-35mm f/2.8L an even nicer equivalent :-) The 17-40 is very nice, and a great value, plus it's lighter (a lot) but the 16-35 is FANTASTIC... |

The 16-35 is a beautiful lens, now you've upgraded your body your gonna have to ditch the cheap glass as it will be shown up by the better ff sensor, I briefly had the sigma 12-24mm which is the widest rectilinear you can go on full frame I sold it to my mate when I got my 16-35 he's since traded it in against a 17-40
