Is anyone using a 300d with a flash like a promaster 7000? It doesn't seem to work for me. It could be that it has to be e-ttl compatible. Does anyone know this for sure?

The flash has to support E-TTL. The 300D does not support TTL.

No 300d for me(the mark II looks sweet though) but I was planning to use a friends 300d to shoot a rodeo. That way I could print them and deliver them on the spot. But all of there events are in the evening inside. Now I'm not sure what to do.
